Refund policy

Eligibility

Refund requests apply to paid course seats invoiced by Nextgencybersec. Free materials and unpaid informational enquiries are not subject to refunds.

Timeframe

For cohort programmes, you may request a full refund up to 14 days after payment, provided you have not attended more than one live session and have not downloaded more than the introductory module pack. Self-paced seats may be refunded in full within 14 days of payment if less than 25% of modules have been marked complete in our learning records.

Full and partial refunds

If you cancel after the windows above but at least 7 days before the first live session of a cohort, we may offer a partial refund of 50% of the seat fee. After that point, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we cancel the programme.

Non-refundable items

• Assurance Circle private workshop customisation fees once preparation has begun
• Third-party charges explicitly listed as pass-through on an invoice
• Seats transferred to another colleague at your request (the seat remains used)

Refund process

Email contact@nextgencybersec.digital with your invoice number, full name, and reason for the request. We confirm eligibility within 3 working days.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 10 working days of approval. Bank timelines may add several days before funds appear.

Cancellation by Nextgencybersec

If we cancel a cohort or cannot deliver a purchased programme, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to a later date at no extra seat fee.

Exceptions

Statutory consumer rights under United Kingdom law remain unaffected. Where mandatory cooling-off rights apply to distance contracts, those rights take precedence over narrower policy windows above.
